Robyn Young, Owner of Money Care, LLC

I enjoy helping individuals manage everyday personal financial challenges. I have a natural talent for financial organization and management, and pride myself on my integrity and work ethic.

Compassionate

Money Care, LLC rose in the early 2000s when I became the “personal bookkeeper” for a senior with dementia. I cleaned-up the financial chaos, kept track of the elder’s income and paid her bills.

Organized

In 2005 I stepped down as director of the Chittenden County United Way community campaign to start Money Care. I help clients:

In addition to bill paying and general personal bookkeeping, I have:

Professional

In 2009 I certified as a Professional Daily Money Manager® with the American Association of Daily Money Managers, becoming the first professional in Vermont to receive this certification.

In addition to my blog, my writing about financial well-being has appeared in the Vermont publications Prime Time Magazine, CVAA Voice and My Finance Magazine.

I belong to the American Association of Daily Money Managers, where I currently serve on the Board of Directors, and the Vermont Elder Resource Group. I am the past treasurer of both my church and the Women Business Owners Network. I hold a master's degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
